We are Frommer Fans so we liked this book. It was a little more worldly than we thought but there were some great ideas that made the book worth the investment to read and save for future travel connections.

Comment: In a great addition to their //500 Places// series, Frommer's now has a travel guide for foodies. From world-class restaurants to classic dinners and drive-ins. Chapters on open air markets and street food accompany food vacations, wineries and dessert destinations. There are also some city-specific suggestions for places to eat in nineteen places, ranging from San Sebastian, Spain to Providence, Road Island (and places along Route 66 in the event you have a road trip planned.)
