This is Julie writing a week after the publication of the 7th edition of Idaho Off the Beaten Path, which is by far the most frequently updated guidebook to Idaho (updated every other year). The new edition features expanded coverage of Boise and its fast-growing suburbs, plus new and offbeat finds throughout Idaho. It's true that many of the places noted in the book will be familiar to Idaho locals, but most people will be happy to see a few new finds in every corner of the state, particularly close-to-home spots to save gas and money. I hope you will have fun discovering Idaho with my book.

I bought this book hoping for an insight into different things we could do when company comes to visit us in Idaho. Since the title is "Off the Beaten Path: a Guide to Unique Places", I was hoping for some unusual stuff. Not so. This book contains all the regular, high profile places that pretty much anyone in Idaho already knows about. It might be useful for someone coming from out of state but unique it is not.

A great book!!! I just moved to Idaho and wanted a book that gave me the ideas I would have if I lived here for several years. This book gave it to me. I bought several Idaho books, this one was the best one.
