Insiders' Guide to Atlanta, 8th (Insiders' Guide Series)

Why oh why would someone bother to make such an insightful guide chockful of useful information which fails to include:
1. a metro map?
2. a map of the various neighborhoods of Atlanta?
3. ANY directions for how to get to a particular site within the book

The main problem with this book is that the authors seem to assume that you know what's near where. We were in Atlanta without a car, dependent on public transportation, and this book was USELESS to us in terms of making plans for how to map out our day or where to go for dinner or some shopping, because while it listed restaurants and shopping malls, there were NO indicators as to which ones might be near where we currently were, nor were there any indicators about which metro stops they're near. It was impossible for a non-native picking up this book to have any idea whether or not one could go from downtown to the Buckhead neighborhood for dinner, for example, or how one might go about doing so...Read more
