I have purchased several guides to Paris prior to my trip. They all were quite good, but in the end this was the only one I took with me, and I was pleased with my decision. My hotels were reserved well ahead of time and I was aware of various practicalities, e.g., how to use Metro and RER, where to buy groceries, etc. What I needed was a guide to various sites and a set of walking tours with maps. And this Michelin guide was perfect for that. The quality of the binding, paper, print, and maps is very high making reading the guide more pleasurable than some other guides I have.
I would definitely use it on future trips to Paris, and will be buying updated editions depending on how soon that will be.

The Michelin guides are a classic anywhere in Europe, and this one for Paris really shines. We relied a lot on the self guided walking tours in the book, and they were just fantastic.

This edition is just one in long line of editions on Paris. I have owned one or more for the past 40 yrs. I would never travel to Paris without one.
