Summary: Discover hidden treasures in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan 2010-01-30
Comment: I bought this book as a Christmas gift for a friend. She has lived in Northern Michigan her whole life but had not even scraped the surface of what there is to discovered across the orginal 'Big Mac' the Mackinac Bridge.
My husband and I have been searching out backroads and swamps every free weekend for the last eight years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are wildlife phototgrapher & videograper trying to capture all the unique wildlife there is in this Great Lakes State we call home.
The author has done an excellent job uncovering and helping people lay out a plan of attack on where to go when heading to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
I would recommend this to anyone who has not truly scratched the surface of this beautiful State. Even locals don't always know what is in their backyard.
