(Spiral-bound) I have purchased these books for each of our three trips to WDW. For the most part it is organized and informative. But the buyer should know that the reviews for restaurants haven't changed since I bought the first book 6 years ago. Unless it is a new establishment, it would seem the published ratings stay for good. Also, pages are now glossy. This may sound silly, but they were once thick paper. The paper was better for making notes and changing dates and details as you make your plans. And for me...I find it a waste to have so many pictures of people I could care less about. If you want to keep the book with you as a reference, it just weighs it down. This will probably be the last passporter I buy. (Spiral-bound) I have motored through four books about Disney, including Birnbaum (which I recommend IN ADDITION to this book) and this is the very best one I have come across yet. They have so many tips in here I was just making notes out of other books but this one I marked full blown pages. They have so much information in here I was totally blown away. I love the fact that they have a big group of Pass Porters to help keep the books current and add any new little things that might come up. What is so great about this book is that you see what thist family looks like. They have real photos of themselves in the park, as well as many photos contributed by fellow Pass Porters.The super best thing about this book is that they have average waiting times to get from your resort to each Disney Park, plus Downtown Disney. (Spiral-bound) I received the 2012 book recently and love it! It has just the right amount of information and I love the tips. Every year more pictures are included and I enjoy seeing all of the happy smiling faces. It brings back memories of my many trips to the World.One of my favorite features is the Passpockets. I love writing my plans on them and then updating them once I'm on vacation. They are a great organizational tool - and an even better journal of our trip. I go back and reread them when I'm planning another trip. I also like that you can put receipts and mementos in them. I think this is book is a great guidebook for a wide variety of vacationers. Whether it is your first trip - or your 20th you will find the information and tools to plan a great vacation! |
