I bought this book hoping to find some little known and inexpensive romantic hideaways. Although some of the wineries that were described met this expectation, this book primarily catalogues restaurants and places to stay that have been rated as expensive or very expensive. It seems the author took the opportunity to explore the best places to write off on her taxes. I'm sure these places are beautiful and romantic if worrying about the bill won't kill your libido. I should have made better use of the "look inside this book" feature before buying.
