Time Out city guidebooks are typically pretty good, and this one is certainly no exception. It provides an excellent list of restaurants and hotels, as well as plenty of useful information about museums, the aquarium, as well as various shops. If you're headed to Lisbon, pick up this book.

One other tip: taxis in Lisbon are inexpensive and useful, but from the airport they try to take advantage. We were charged 25 euro for a ten minute ride. Why not take the airport bus right from the terminal, for 3 euro, or even the city bus for half of that?
