This review is from: Virginia Off the Beaten Path, 10th: A Guide to Unique Places (Off the Beaten Path Series) (Paperback) While this was generally a good reference, we found some errors that proved to be costly in time, such as a wrong address that led us to the wrong end of town, and too late then to see the original Tiffany windows we were looking for. Also, the text is arranged in counties, but there is no map on the county page to know just where that county was, so we didn't know if we were in the area or not. Poorly arranged. 2 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Virginia Off the Beaten Path, 10th: A Guide to Unique Places (Off the Beaten Path Series) (Paperback) I bought this book for a friend retiring to Virginia, and it is a lot of interesting sites, organized by area, that one might overlook if just going by the maps. He is looking forward to getting to know his new area, and this appears to be a good addition to his guide books and information. |
